This Nichrome 80 is genuine Sandvik wire, smelted in Sweden and milled in the United States. Basically, it's completely free of the impurities of typical Chinese made wire, clarified before freshly spooled and quality checked at multiple stages.

This stuff does not oxidise as quickly as Chinese made coils and wire do either, meaning you can absolutely smash your coils for much longer. With the right maintenance (just dry burning and firing your coils once a week with a fresh water quench), we've had great results of coils lasting in excess of three months!

Nichrome 80 is a austenitic nickel-chromium alloy and has a very high resistivity and oxidization resistance, composed of 80% nickel and 20% chromium and is Iron free. For use in rebuildable atomizers this wire has a lower operating temperature (1200°C) than Kanthal A1 and can last longer than it because of its ability to resist oxidation. Kanthal A1 has a thinner oxide layer when comparing it to Kanthal A1 but is prone to getting hotspots compared to Kanthal A1.

This wire may or may not be intended for standard single wire coil builds, this wire may be intended for advanced coil art and will not perform well as a standalone wire. Please make sure you are buying the most suitable wire for your build before purchasing.
